There was some issues in transportation and production

I purchased myCobot Pro 320 Pi about at the end of November.
The first problem is the delay. The admin says it need 20 days before the shipment. It turned out, the shipment was delivered at the end of January.
When it had arrived, the arm was broken. However, The company took good care of me. They offered reasonable solutions, guidance and sincerely apologized for the defect.
Right now, I’m waiting for a spare part changed that I can’t wait to experience the Cobot. If everything works fine I might buy another one.

Good quality kit - works well

This is a quality kit, and I am glad I bought it. Excellent project for my daughter and me, with Easy-to-Follow instructions. If you want to get started in DIY robotics/automation, this is a good choice. The manufacturer went to great lengths to make things easy to use for beginners. Drag to teach make users can quickly get started. And once you feel more comfortable with the HW, you can look at programming the controller directly. So far everything went together well. If you have a child interested in engineering or are a tinkerer yourself, this is a great buy.

Excellent Robotic Arm

The kit is sturdy and performs well.
You can also use it to modify or create your software! The mycobot 320 Pi can be used as a development platform! The only issue with this product I found was the joint 4 sags when roboflow controls
the coordinates. It did not follow the set goals.
Then after-sales customer service told me when roboflow controls the coordinate movement, the old version will have the problem of sagging. They have tried to fix this problem in the latest version and suggested I try to develop with myblockly or python.
So I gave it 4.5 stars. I will change it to 5 stars if they resolve this problem in the future.

Brilliant product.

I and my 15 year old son got this robot as our first stab at robotics with our homeschooling.
I think myCobot did an excellent job of designing it, making it easy to assemble, and getting into the knowledge of how a 6 axis robot works. It went above and beyond our expectations.
Installation interfaces are very suitable for the development of various peripheral products and equipment. This robot arm is a must-have for your projects. Wow just wow!

Warranty

  • Return service is limited to goods not opened within 7 days after the receipt date of logistics of the products. The freight or other risks incurred in return shall be borne by the customer.
  • Customers should provide the purchasing invoice and warranty card as the warranty certification when a warranty is being asked.
  • Elephant Robotics will be responsible for the hardware faults of products caused by normal use during the warranty period.
  • The warranty period starts from the date of purchase or the receipt date of the logistics.
  • The faulty parts from the products will be owned by Elephant Robotics, and the appropriate cost will be charged if necessary.

Q6: How long will it take to ship after I placed the order? And What kind of logistics?

A6: We ship worldwide and we use the following carriers: FedEx、UPS 、DHL. The products shall be delivered by International Express within 1-2 weeks. All products use standard cartons and special customized super hard paper shells to firmly fix the products and prevent damage from impact.

Q7: I don’t know how to develop robot arm. Is there a graphical interface for operations?

A7: For non-technical players, myCobot supports drag teaching function, which allows you to teach it every action and instruction you want. Get rid of the traditional path point storage mode, no programming is required. The saved path can be recorded, and different paths can be saved as long as 60mins at most.

Q8: How about the repeated positioning accuracy?

A8: The repeated positioning accuracy of myCobot 280 is ±0.5mm, and the repeated positioning accuracy of myCobot 320 is ±0.3mm. The repeat positioning accuracy of the two manipulators is determined based on the length of use.

The positioning of the two products is not the same. The ER 280 robotic arm is a consumer type and is mostly used in the education field. It is recommended to use 1-2 hours to rest for 15-30 minutes. The repeat positioning accuracy can reach ±0.2mm in a short time.The ER 320 is suitable for commercial work within 12 hours, with a repeat positioning accuracy of ±0.3mm. If used in a short time, the repeat positioning accuracy can also reach ±0.2mm.

Q9: Is there a camera on the robotic arm? And is there a visual recognition sorting function?

A9: The robotic arm does not have a camera. But we have machine vision-related kits now available for vision development.
