AIoT Education for Next Generation: Enhancing Hands-On Learning with ER's 6-DOF Educational Robots

A high-tech partner in Taiwan is advancing AI and robotics education, with deep expertise in Arduino, maker education, and robotics competitions. The enterprise delivers comprehensive educational solutions spanning hardware and software to support AIoT teaching and applications.

To date, the enterprise has procured nearly 200 ER's cobots—including myCobot, mechArm, and myCobot Pro—along with robotic accessories. Integrated into their PLC systems, these robots are widely used in classroom instruction, recruitment demonstrations, and competitions, helping cultivate the next generation of engineers while promoting innovative educational solutions.

The enterprise organizes annual training camps featuring hands-on robotic arm courses centered on educational cobots, enabling students to explore Python, ROS, IoT, and AI voice control. In collaboration with Taipei City University of Science and Technology and the Chunghwa Science and Technology Education Association, it also hosts the Industry 4.0 Robotics Competition. Students from leading high schools and universities work in teams of four per robot to complete automation tasks, with awards presented for top performers and best innovations.

Additionally, it showcased the myCobot Pro at Autonomous Mobile Robot & Logistics Week 2022, attracting significant attention from educators and students. These initiatives demonstrate its commitment to practical robotics education and nurturing future engineering talent.
