Reliable Partners Integrated with Mobile Robots: Bridging Academia and Industry to Empower Next-Gen Talent

One of our partners, specializing in intelligent robotics and AI, leverages strong R&D expertise from leading research institutions to develop advanced robotic systems. The enterprise actively supports universities through academic programs, competitions, research projects, and industry-academia collaboration, with the goal of cultivating future robotics talent.
With deep expertise in AGVs, the enterprise has participated in major competitions such as the RoboCom Developer Competition (RAICOM) and the Chinese Collegiate Computing Competition, while also organizing three robotics contests of its own. Seeking a reliable hardware platform for its future projects, it selected our 4-DOF palletizing stepper arm, ultraArm, for its seamless integration with robotic vehicles and Baidu’s AI Studio PaddlePaddle platform—making it an ideal foundation for next-generation compound mobile robots. From 2023 to 2025, the enterprise procured 70 units of robots to develop compound mobile picking robots.
At the 2023 Future Agricultural Robotics Challenge, 47 university teams from across China—each composed of 2–5 undergraduates—competed using these compound mobile picking robots to complete real-world agricultural tasks, including autonomous navigation, mapping, fruit recognition, and delivery. The first prize was awarded to Nanjing Vocational University of Industry Technology (NJUIT).
This solution not only enhances university innovation competitions but is also integrated into robotics curricula, enabling scenario-based courses in ROS development, natural language processing, and mobile robotics—bridging theory with hands-on practice.
