myStudio is a one-stop platform for robots of myRobot/myCobot. The main functions of myStudio are:

  1. Update the firmware;
  2. Provide video tutorials on how to use the robot;
  3. Provide maintenance and repair information (such as video tutorials, Q&A, etc.).

The robot functions as advertised

sparks thought and creativity

For our computational thinking curriculum, we are going to use the mycobot to integrate and learn with Raspberry Pi and Python.
The product comes in a well-organized box. The robotic arm is great. On the Elephant Robotics website, I found them easy-to-follow tutorials. As I mentioned before, as a teacher I want to use the mycobot to learn to program for my students. The tutorial contains coding pages to control each sensor or actuator on the mycobot pi and even make your own controlling app. Nicely done!

I got it last week, it was a quick delivery. The package was compact and looked good. There is also a manual, and you can start very easily with the help of it. The instructions in the manual are easy to follow and it didn't take me a long time to set up the Raspberry Pi. One hint I want to mention is, if you find the manual is not helpful enough, there are also some more detailed gitbook on the Elephant Robotics website.

It does work!!!

I ordered a myCobot 320 Pi in this shop. The cobot arrived without any damage. I was told by my friend that Elephant Robotics sells 1KG Payload 6DOF cobot and it only costs $2499 which is the lowest price compared with other cobot companies. Because I may use this cobot to pass on some car accessories to assemble, the 1 KG payload definitely satisfies my business demand. Though I felt a little puzzled about installing and starting this cobot at the beginning, the customer support explained considerately for me also I got lots of tutorials from their website and YouTube channel. The servos work well and they won't cause shaking on working. On myStudio platform, I can flash the hardware quickly and install the development language I need. That's one of the reasons I chose the Raspberry Pi version cobot.
Till now, this myCobot 320 Pi is working for me in my car factory. It does work well and stably. I think it will save a lot for me on labour costs. Very good product. I will be ordering more! Thank you, elephant robotics! YouTube video placeholder

Q7: I don’t know how to develop robot arm. Is there a graphical interface for operations?

A7: For non-technical players, myCobot and myArm supports drag teaching function, which allows you to teach it every action and instruction you want. Get rid of the traditional path point storage mode, no programming is required. The saved path can be recorded, and different paths can be saved as long as 60mins at most.

Q8: How about the repeated positioning accuracy?

A8: The repeated positioning accuracy of myArm 300 is ±0.5mm.

The positioning of the two products is not the same. The ER 280 robotic arm is a consumer type and is mostly used in the education field. It is recommended to use 1-2 hours to rest for 15-30 minutes. The repeat positioning accuracy can reach ±0.2mm in a short time.The ER 320 is suitable for commercial work within 12 hours, with a repeat positioning accuracy of ±0.3mm. If used in a short time, the repeat positioning accuracy can also reach ±0.2mm.

Q9: Is there a camera on the robotic arm? And is there a visual recognition sorting function?

A9: The robotic arm does not have a camera. But we have machine vision-related kits now available for vision development.
